There are different stories in American Thanksgiving day.  One story said it is a kind of festival that American thanks for sharing food by Native American. The story said Native American gave American food and seed, let them planted and got fruit, at the day that American got fruits, they asked Native American to thank god together. Another story said Thanksgiving day was Native American traditional festival, American just join them and share the festival together.
The really history of the Thanksgiving day may cannot be proved, so no matter it is dark or happy,what American do now is just enjoying it and thanking god and thanking everybody seriously. In Thanksgiving day, families will be together and share Turkey , potato, corn.      And now, American have this festival on December 4th Thursday which decided by Roosevelt.
